Egypt The Truth About Suspending School Until March 29

Khaberni - The Ministry of Education in Egypt denied the rumors about extending the suspension of school, stating that the current decision is limited to only two days due to bad weather conditions.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education ended the speculation circulated on social media regarding the extension of the suspension of school until March 29, confirming that these reports are not true.

The ministry clarified in an official statement that the Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif did not issue any decisions regarding extending the suspension period, emphasizing the need to be accurate and not to follow rumors.

It also mentioned that the current decision to suspend classes is only for Wednesday and Thursday, as part of the precautionary measures to face the unstable weather conditions the country is experiencing.

The ministry confirmed that the holiday includes students, teachers, and all school staff nationwide, aiming to ensure their safety, while work continues normally inside the Ministry's general office, directorates, and educational administrations.

In the same context, the General Authority for Meteorology issued warnings of an unstable weather wave, expecting thunderstorms that may lead to floods in some areas, alongside active winds that raise dust and a significant drop in temperatures.

The relevant authorities have urged citizens to be cautious, avoid being in hazardous places such as under trees or billboards during bad weather, and to follow the official data issued by the competent authorities.
