The Israeli Army Announces Detection of Missile Launches from Iran Toward Dimona and the Negev

Khaberni - The Israeli army announced this evening, Sunday, the detection of missile launches from Iranian territory towards Israel, indicating that air defense systems are working to intercept the threat.

The army's statement said: "Recently, the Israeli Defense Forces detected missiles launched from Iran towards the territory of the State of Israel. The defense systems are operating to intercept the threat."

The statement added that the Home Front Command sent a precautionary direct message to mobile phones in the affected areas, urging the public to "act responsibly and follow the instructions - they save lives."

The Israeli army urged residents to enter protected areas upon receiving the alert and to stay there until further notice, confirming that leaving the protected place is only allowed after receiving explicit instructions.

Alarm sirens sounded in Dimona, the Negev, and nearby towns in southern Israel amid an Iranian ballistic missile attack.

At the same time, alarm sirens sounded in Margaliot and Manara in the Upper Galilee amid a missile attack launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon.

This escalation comes as the war continues for the 23rd consecutive day, with ongoing exchange of missile strikes between the sides.
