Khaberni - Facebook announced the launch of the "Creator Fast Track" program, an ambitious initiative aimed at attracting top content creators from competing platforms such as "TikTok" and "YouTube" by offering guaranteed financial incentives and a noticeable increase in content dissemination.
$1,000 monthly for content creators who have at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
$3,000 monthly for those who exceed a million followers on any of those platforms
The number of creators earning more than $10,000 annually has increased by 30% on an annual basis
This announcement comes at a time when the social network revealed record numbers, having paid nearly $3 billion to content creators through its monetization programs in 2025, an increase of 35% from the previous year, marking the highest annual total recorded by the company to date.
Recruitment Strategy
The idea of the new program revolves around enticing influencers who have built large fan bases on other platforms to start publishing on Facebook.
Instead of starting from scratch, the program allows participants quick access to a broad audience by increasing the dissemination of eligible "Reels" videos, in addition to granting them a guaranteed monthly income for three months in exchange for sharing their content.
The company has set monthly earning criteria based on the follower size on other platforms:
- $1,000 monthly: for content creators who have at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
- $3,000 monthly: for those whose follower count exceeds one million on any of those platforms.
Breaking Traditional Limitations
The program offers an exceptional advantage to participants by providing immediate access to Facebook’s monetization tools without the need to meet usual criteria, such as the minimum number of local followers, ensuring their continued earnings even after the three-month program period ends.
Yair Levin, Vice President of Content Creator Products at Facebook, said: "We wanted to address content creators' concerns about the difficulty of joining Facebook and building a community and fan base from scratch, so we designed this program to remove those barriers."
Levin confirmed that the support will not stop with the end of the financial reward; the company will continue to enhance the dissemination of creators' content until they find their targeted audience.
Content Policy and Record Numbers
Levin clarified that the program does not require offering purely exclusive or entirely new content, but creators can republish "their best previous works" (Back Catalog) and benefit financially from them.
Recent Facebook statistics indicate promising growth in this sector:
- The number of creators earning more than $10,000 annually has increased by 30% on an annual basis.
- "Reels" videos accounted for 60% of the total payment amounts last year, while the remaining 40% were distributed among Stories, photos, and text posts.
Analytical Tools and Greater Transparency
To enable creators to better understand their returns, Facebook announced the introduction of new metrics in their control panel:
- Qualified Views: clarifies the number of views that qualify for earnings, excluding fleeting views (such as quickly scrolling past after one second).
- Earnings Rate: shows the approximate earnings for every 1000 qualified views.
- Non-qualified Views: provides an analysis of the reasons some views were not counted and how to improve content in the future to increase earnings.
With this step, Facebook has raised the level of competition in the "creator economy," transforming its platform into an attractive investment destination for digital influencers worldwide.
