The Israeli Army Announces Strikes on Targets in Tehran

Khaberni - The Israeli military announced that it launched air raids, at dawn on Saturday, on regime targets in Tehran, after detecting the launch of several Iranian missiles towards Israel.

The Iranian capital has been under almost daily bombardment since the start of the joint American-Israeli attack against Iran on February 28, which resulted in the deaths of senior officials including the Supreme Leader.

Iran responded by launching missile and drone attacks on Israel, in addition to targeting American interests in the Gulf.

A brief statement from the Israeli military indicated that it carried out "strikes on targets belonging to the Iranian regime in Tehran", following earlier raids on Hezbollah targets in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

No immediate details were available about the outcomes of the strikes.

Earlier, the military stated that it "detected missiles launched from Iran towards the territory of the State of Israel" at least three times within six hours.

Alarm sirens sounded in large parts of Israel, according to the Home Front Command of the army, with no injuries reported.

In an earlier statement, the Israeli military said that its recent raids on Tehran targeted ballistic missile sites.

The statement added that the Israeli military will continue to weaken the Iranian regime's firepower.
