Khaberni - The UAE State Security announced the dismantlement of a terror network funded and managed by the Lebanese Hezbollah militia and Iran, and the arrest of its members.
According to the official news agency WAM, the network operates within the state under a fake commercial cover and aims to penetrate the national economy and execute foreign schemes that threaten the financial stability of the country.
The agency clarified that this network was established according to a pre-planned strategic plan with external parties linked to the Lebanese Hezbollah militia and Iran, in violation of the economic and legal systems for money laundering, financing terrorism, and threatening national security.
The State Security Agency affirmed that any attempt to exploit the national economy or civil institutions for terrorist or conspiratorial purposes will be met with firmness and strength, and no foreign interference threatening the security or stability of the state will be allowed, regardless of its source or cover.
