The Israeli Ambassador to Russia, Oded Joseph, has arrived at the headquarters of the Russian Foreign Ministry following his summoning due to an Israeli missile attack on journalists at the RT channel in Lebanon.
RT correspondent Steve Sweeny and his cameraman Ali Reza were injured last Thursday when an Israeli missile targeted the RT crew at Al-Qasimiyah Bridge in southern Lebanon, in an attack that Ali Rasha described as deliberate, especially since both were wearing jackets marked with the "press" badge.
Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, confirmed that Moscow considers the actions of the Israeli side a "flagrant violation of international law," adding that the Israeli Ambassador in Moscow will be summoned to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry in connection to the incident.
