Bahrain Announces Interception of 139 Missiles and 238 Drones

Khaberni - The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced that air defense systems succeeded in intercepting and destroying 139 missiles and 238 drones since the beginning of what it described as "the Iranian assaults," targeting the kingdom.

The command confirmed that its forces continue to face waves of attacks, praising the combat readiness and high vigilance demonstrated by its personnel, considering that the performance reflects an advanced operational efficiency in protecting the country's airspace.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force urged citizens and residents to exercise the utmost caution and safety, stay away from damaged sites and suspicious objects, refrain from filming military operations or the sites where debris falls, and to rely on official sources for information.

It emphasized that targeting civilian objects with ballistic missiles and drones constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Charter of the United Nations, and poses a direct threat to regional security.
