Khaberni - The number of payment transactions conducted through the "E-Fawateercom" system has increased since the beginning of 2026 to reach 13.11 million transactions, with a total value of JD 2.63 billion.
According to the monthly report of the Jordan Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPACC) viewed by "Al-Mamlaka", the number of "E-Fawateercom" users increased during the month of February to reach 5.13 million users, registering a growth of 0.9% compared with the number of users in January, which was 5.09 million users, versus 5.4 million users in December 2025.
The current number of users reached 5.09 million, accounting for 99.1% of the total number of users, while the number of new users reached 43.5 thousand, representing 0.9%.
The report indicated that the number of billers on "E-Fawateercom" increased to 698, while the number of available services reached 2,388 services.
The number of transactions conducted through the system during the month of February saw a slight increase to 6.58 million transactions, a growth rate of 0.7% compared to January, which recorded 6.53 million transactions.
The report showed that the telecommunications sector still leads the list of "E-Fawateercom" movements with 1.95 million transactions, followed by the water and electricity sector with 1.78 million transactions, then government services with 1.52 million transactions, followed by e-wallet companies and payment service providers with 540 thousand transactions, then financing and financial services with 297 thousand transactions, then education with 244 thousand transactions, followed by transport and travel with 50 thousand transactions, then syndicates and organizations with 48 thousand transactions, and gas and energy with 33 thousand transactions, then trade and services with 26 thousand transactions.
Digital payments maintained the largest share of the number of transactions during the month of February, amounting to 5.33 million transactions, equivalent to 80.9% of the total transactions, compared to 1.25 million transactions for cash payments, representing 19.1%.
The total value of transactions in February decreased to JD 1.24 billion, marking a decrease of 11.2% compared to January, which recorded JD 1.39 billion.
Government services led the payments during the month of February in terms of the value of "E-Fawateercom" transactions, amounting to JD 755 million, followed by e-wallet companies and payment service providers with JD 174 million, then water and electricity with JD 83 million, then education with JD 79 million, followed by financing and financial services with JD 58 million, then telecommunications with JD 32 million, followed by banks with JD 16 million, then gas and energy with JD 14 million, and trade and services with JD 11 million, and transport and travel with JD 6 million.
In terms of value, digital payments for the same month amounted to JD 1.07 billion, constituting 86.2% of the total payments, while the value of cash payments reached JD 170.8 million, representing 13.8%.
The average value of transactions through "E-Fawateercom" in February 2026 decreased to JD 188, compared to JD 213 in January.
