In the fourth season, consisting of 8 episodes, "Mark Grayson" returns in a new phase of challenges, facing the repercussions of the events of the third season that still haunt him, with the opening scenes showing the direct aftermath of the previous destruction and personal losses.
The events reveal Mark's feelings of guilt and grief resulting from the price he pays for being a superhero, while the first episode launches the Viltrumite War, considered the largest story adaptation in the series' history, with cosmic battles stretching across space between competing empires.
At the same time, "Nolan", Mark's father, who is currently working with the Planetary Alliance, is engaged in a different confrontation on another front, in a plotline parallel to the developments of the events.
Throughout the season, "Thragg" appears as the main antagonist, dominating the Viltrumite empire with a firm grip, while "Matthew Rhys" portrays "Dinosaurus", who brings chaos to the developments on Earth, pushing the story forward at an accelerated pace.
