Khaberni - US military officials announced the killing of one person and injuring another in a shooting incident at a US air base in New Mexico.
Holloman Air Base near Alamogordo was temporarily locked down around 0530 PM after reports of active shooting, according to a base statement. The injured person was transported for medical treatment.
Security officials have confirmed that the base is now secure and the lockdown has been lifted.
The statement indicated that "emergency teams are handling the situation, and there is no current threat."
