AlNassr moves in Asia Formal request to host decisive rounds

Khaberni - Al-Nassr FC requests to host the decisive stages of the Asian Champions League 2.

According to the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadiyah,” Al-Nassr management has submitted a formal request to the Saudi Football Federation, in preparation to submit it to the Asian Football Confederation.

The goal of this request is to host the matches of the quarter-final and semi-final stages for the western region in the Asian Champions League 2, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The club management is currently working on completing the coordination with the Saudi Federation to finish the formal procedures, before finally submitting the file in the coming days, as they await a decision on the matter by the continental federation.

The Asian Football Confederation has announced that the quarter-final and semi-final matches will be played in a centralized single match format, from April 19 to 22, setting March 25 as the final date for submitting hosting applications.

It is worth mentioning that the Asian Confederation has postponed the Al-Nassr matches against Al-Wasl UAE, and Al-Ahli Qatari against Al-Hussein Jordanian, in the first and second legs of the quarter-finals, scheduled to be held on March 4 and 11, due to the current crisis in the Middle East.
