Hansi Flick drops a bombshell Coaching Barcelona is the last job in my career

Khaberni  - Hansi Flick revealed his position on renewing his contract with Barcelona, following an announcement in this regard by the elected president Joan Laporta.

This came during a press conference before the second-leg match against Newcastle United, in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Flick was asked about Laporta’s statements regarding his contract renewal, to which he replied: "I think the time is not right now. We have a very important match. Everyone knows I am very happy here, but I need to talk to my family. There will be a right time to talk, not now."

At the same time, Flick (61 years old) announced that his job in Barcelona will be the last in his career, saying: "Obviously, I love working here. The most important thing for me is that I live with a wonderful family here. I have the support of Barcelona... I am here to help achieve the best level, and there is still plenty of time."

He added: "I am not thinking of going anywhere else. This will be my last club and my last job, and I am very happy."

What did Flick say about Newcastle and Real Madrid?

The German coach was asked about his expectations for the match against Newcastle, and he answered: "It will be a tough match. They are physically strong and quick in counter-attacks. We need to deliver a perfect performance, which is what we will try to do."

He also discussed the chances of Barcelona winning the continental title, saying: "We need to be positive, as the team includes outstanding players. We will see if we are capable of winning the UEFA Champions League, but we need to improve."

He praised Real Madrid's performance against Manchester City, saying: "Real Madrid put on a great performance in the first-leg match, but that's football, and anything is possible. I will watch the match and enjoy it."
