Khaberni - Grief has overtaken the Egyptian artistic community following the announcement of the death of the Egyptian artist Nehal El Qadi, who passed away after a bitter struggle that lasted for about 40 days in an intensive care unit at one of the hospitals.
The deceased had been in a complete coma after suffering a horrific car accident more than a month ago, which resulted in severe brain concussion and multiple fractures. Attempts by doctors to save her failed throughout her stay in the hospital under strict medical observation.
The family of the deceased artist has decided to bury her body in her hometown in the Sharqia Governorate (in the northern Delta of Egypt) after the noon prayer on Tuesday, amid a state of shock among her colleagues and followers on social media platforms, who mourned her with poignant words.
Nehal El Qadi was known as one of the young faces that emerged at the beginning of the second millennium, specifically through comedic cinema.
Her most notable and famous role was the character "Engy" in the movie "The Following Statement Has Arrived" (2001) opposite star Mohamed Henedy, where she played the role of the aristocratic newscaster who was competing with "Nader Seif El Din" and "Eftet El Sherbini".
Nehal had been absent from the artistic scene for many years, and she wasn't making headlines in the artistic community or festivals, until her name recently came into widespread and sudden circulation after the tragic accident that claimed her life.
