Khaberni - Former spokesman for the occupation army, Avichai Adraee, announced the execution of a precise air strike that targeted the Iranian capital Tehran, resulting in the death of the Basij forces commander, Gholam Reza Suleimani.
Adraee clarified that the air force conducted the operation with precise intelligence guidance from the military intelligence authority, targeting Suleimani in the heart of Tehran, where he led the Basij forces over the past six years.
He pointed out that the Basij forces are part of the military system affiliated with the Iranian regime, and have played a prominent role in suppressing internal protests, through overseeing security operations that included the use of force and arrests against demonstrators.
He indicated that this operation comes within a series of targeting that has affected dozens of military leaders.
