Khaberni - Saudi Arabia and the UAE affirmed that the continuation of Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries represents a serious escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.
According to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA", Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, made a phone call to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, during which they discussed the developments in the region and the repercussions on its security and stability.
The agency added that the call also emphasized that the continuation of the nefarious Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council states represents a serious escalation threatening the security and stability of the region, and that the council states will continue to make all efforts to defend their territories and provide all available means to support the security of the region and maintain its stability.
Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, February 28, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has responded by striking Israel and other countries in the region with missiles and drones.
