Khaberni - Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced this evening, Sunday, the martyrdom of eight citizens and the injury of others, due to the targeting by Israeli occupation aircraft of a vehicle on Salah al-Din street in central Gaza Strip.
The bodies of the eight martyrs have been taken to the refrigerators of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The martyrs are: Tawfiq Azmi Al-Khaldi, Rami Harb, Youssef Faraj Meit, Musab Al-Durra, Abdul Rahman Muneer Al-Omsi, Iyad Abu Yusuf (Abu Omar), Wissam Al-Hafi, and Fathi Owaidah.
Nael Basam al-Barawi has also been martyred, succumbing to wounds he had sustained in an earlier Israeli bombing that targeted civilians a few days ago in the Al-Katiba area west of Gaza City.
Earlier today, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the toll of the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,239 martyrs and 171,861 injured, since the aggression began on October 7, 2023.
The sources clarified that the hospitals of the Gaza Strip have received during the past twenty-four hours 13 martyrs (11 new martyrs and two succumbed to their injuries), in addition to 8 injuries.
It was mentioned that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 of last year has increased to 663 martyrs, while the total number of injuries reached 1,762 injuries, apart from the recovery of 756 bodies.
The same sources added that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as the ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them up to this moment.
