Khaberni - The Israeli Defense Forces announced early on Wednesday the injury of two soldiers during an operational activity in the village of Silwad in the West Bank.
The army said in a statement that two gunmen attacked the soldiers, resulting in their injuries and their subsequent transportation to the hospital for treatment.
The statement added that the Israeli forces responded by opening fire on the attackers, resulting in the death of one of them, neutralizing the other, and arresting him.
