Khaberni - The general assembly of the Jordanian Medical Association for Osteoporosis, derived from the Medical Syndicate, held its second regular annual meeting on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the scientific meeting building of the Medical Syndicate, with the presence of the syndicate council's delegate Dr. Mohammad Hassan Tarawneh.
After approving the financial and administrative reports, and electing a committee to oversee the elections, the committee announced the victory of Dr. Muzaffar Al-Galamda as the president of the association, and the committee also announced the victory of the following doctors as members of the administrative board:
* Dr. Dana Al-Hayyasat
* Dr. Nahla Al-Khawaja
* Dr. Sana Al-Sakhen
* Dr. Abeer Anab
* Dr. Rola Yacoub
* Dr. Tarek Al-Khatib
It is noted that the association, established in 2005, is concerned with raising awareness about osteoporosis diseases, their treatment, and following up on related research. The association includes a group of various medical specialties, including: endocrinology, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, joints, and radiology. The association is also a registered member in the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF).
