Khaberni - Hamas expressed its deep concern about the ongoing war in the region, affirming in a statement issued on Saturday its condemnation of the "American Zionist aggression on the Islamic Republic of Iran," describing it as "violating the rules of international law and humanitarian international law, and threatening regional and international peace and security."
Hamas affirmed Iran's right to respond to the aggression according to international norms and laws, but called for not targeting neighboring countries, and urged all countries in the region to cooperate to stop the aggression and maintain the bonds of brotherhood.
The movement emphasized that the interest of the Islamic nation and the region requires stopping this war, calling on all countries and international organizations to work to end it immediately, and appreciating the efforts made by some countries to promote dialogue and diplomacy.
Brazen aggression
Hamas has held the US administration and the Israeli government fully responsible for what it described as brazen aggression and heinous crime against the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and for its dangerous repercussions on the security and stability of the region, according to a statement issued by them.
The movement considered that these US-Israeli attacks further fuel crises and conflicts that serve only the Zionist agendas in expansion, domination, and control at the expense of the rights of the Palestinians and the interests of Arab peoples.
Hamas called on the Arab and Islamic nations and the international community, both countries and institutions, to take urgent action and adopt serious and decisive stands against these crimes and escalating violations, and to put an end to their continuation throughout the region.
Hamas renewed its solidarity and stands alongside Iran, mourning its deaths, and condemning what it described as the Zionist-American attack on it.
