AlFarajat Queen Alia Airport witnesses stability in flight movement and operational rates

Khaberni - The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, His Excellency Captain Dheifallah Al-Farajat, confirmed that the air navigation movement at Queen Alia International Airport is proceeding steadily and stably during the first third of the current March, despite the surrounding regional situations, referring to the high readiness that the technical and operational staff maintain in dealing with the movement of passengers (arrivals and departures) efficiently and proficiently.

Captain Al-Farajat revealed that the analytical reading of the airport movement since the beginning of the month until the tenth of it shows an upward curve in the number of flights, where the figures have recorded promising levels reflecting the flexibility of the sector. His Excellency explained that the sixth of March witnessed noticeable activity with the total arrival of 141 flights, asserting that this operational momentum reflects ongoing confidence in the security and safety of Jordanian airspace.

Al-Farajat pointed out that the airport maintained an average operational rate ranging between 110 to 130 flights on most days during this period, and added: "We look forward with great optimism to the next phase, where data shows the airport's capability to recover its usual pace which used to reach up to 240 aircraft per day, supported by the quality of navigational services and the return of several airlines to operate in Amman."

The President of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission concluded his statement by affirming that the commission puts all its resources to ensure the continuity of this stability, and works closely with its partners at the airport to provide a safe and smooth travel experience, contributing to enhancing Jordan's role as a tourist destination and a vital regional hub for air transport.
