Khaberni - The Iranian armed forces launched a new wave of missile and drone attacks on Israel and several Gulf states.
The Times of Israel reported this Wednesday morning that the missiles in Israel were either intercepted or fell in uninhabited areas.
The Iranian news agency Tasnim, close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, described these attacks as the largest wave since the beginning of the war.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception of seven ballistic missiles and seven drones in various parts of the kingdom.
In Kuwait, the Ministry of Defense said four drones were intercepted while others fell in open areas.
Air raid sirens also sounded in Bahrain.
The Israeli military said on Wednesday that it detected several batches of missiles launched from Iran towards Israel and worked on intercepting them, at the time when it launched a "wave" of strikes against Iran and Lebanon.
The military stated on its official Telegram account, "A short while ago, the Israeli military detected missiles launched from Iran towards the territory of the State of Israel. The defense systems are working to intercept this threat."
AFP correspondents heard alarm sirens ringing in Jerusalem, along with sounds of explosions.
The Israeli emergency service "Magen David Adom" reported no immediate injuries following the rocket launch, but said that its teams were treating "a small number of people who were injured on their way to protected areas."
Channel 12 Israel noted that several injuries were recorded near Tel Aviv due to the Iranian missiles.
Hours later, the Israeli military announced that Iran launched a new wave of missiles and urged residents of the affected areas to head to shelters.
Magen David Adom announced after the latest batch that there were "no injuries."
It added that "paramedics went out to treat some cases of people injured on their way to the protected area (shelters)."
Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated in a communiqué that it targeted a satellite communications center in Haifa, along with military bases in Israel and American targets elsewhere in the Middle East, including Iraqi Kurdistan and the Fifth Fleet's naval base in Bahrain.
The Revolutionary Guard on their site "Sepah News" said, "We will continue our relentless attacks with determination and strength, and in this war we think only of the complete surrender of the enemy."
