US War Secretary Strikes on Iran Today Will Be the Most Severe

Khaberni - U.S. War Secretary, Pete Hegseth, said on Tuesday that the United States detected Iran launching the fewest number of missiles during the last 24 hours, indicating that the strikes that will be carried out today against Iran "will be the most severe".

Hegseth clarified during a press conference with the Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Kaine, that the goals of the military operations include destroying Iran's missiles and its defense industrial base, in addition to destroying the Iranian Navy, asserting that the United States "is prevailing over Iran through air dominance and in execution of the President’s decisions".

He added that Iran "stands alone and is losing badly", describing it as "desperate and staggering", and accusing Tehran of launching missiles from schools and hospitals.

He noted that the United States' mission consists in firmly preventing Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon, confirming that the Iranians had been "racing against time to acquire a nuclear bomb and taking the world hostage".

In the same context, Kaine stated that the American forces are focusing on destroying Iranian missiles and drones, its naval forces, and its industrial base, affirming "significant progress in reducing Iran’s missile capabilities".
