America spent 56 billion on ammunition in the first two days of the war on Iran

Khaberni - The Washington Post has revealed - citing U.S. officials - that the U.S. military consumed ammunition valued at about $5.6 billion during the first two days of its military attack on Iran.

According to officials, this level of ammunition consumption over a short period highlights the high cost of military strikes carried out by the United States.
In contrast, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) stated that the department possesses everything it needs to carry out any mission decided by the U.S. President, at any time and place determined, and within the required timeframe.

U.S. officials indicated that this week, the administration might request additional budget from Congress for the Department of Defense, in light of the significant rise in the costs of military operations.

The officials explained that the supplemental budget the administration intends to request could amount to tens of billions of dollars, aimed at supporting the ongoing military campaign on Iran, which may face opposition from Democrats.
