Khaberni - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that negotiations with the United States are no longer on the Iranian agenda, ruling out a return to dialogue with Washington in the near future.
In an interview with the American PBS network, Araghchi said: "I do not think that the issue of dialogue or negotiations with the Americans will return to our agenda again because we have had a very bitter experience negotiating with America." He pointed out that everyone is waiting for the speeches and positions of the new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, which will be announced later.
The Foreign Minister affirmed that "our missile launches continue, and we are prepared to continue missile attacks against them whenever necessary and as needed."
Araghchi considered that the initial American plan for the war had failed, saying: "They thought that within two or three days they could achieve regime change and secure a quick and clean victory, but they failed. In my opinion, their initial plan failed, and they are now testing other plans, but they have also failed."
The Iranian minister accused the United States of targeting civilians and infrastructure in a "blind" manner, saying: "Today they targeted our residential areas, hospitals, and schools, they even attacked our infrastructure, which is a very dangerous act." He added that "the United States is responsible for the martyrdom of 168 innocent schoolgirls in Minab, who were sitting in their classrooms when suddenly they were killed by the American army."
Araghchi emphasized that Washington is clearly confused, saying: "I do not think they have a realistic end to this war in their minds at all, as there is a kind of confusion shown in their statements and actions." He noted that the impact of these attacks has begun to reflect on global oil prices, concluding with the statement: "They failed initially to achieve their goals, and now after ten days, it seems they are aimless."
