Major airlines that suspended their flights to the Middle East due to the war on Iran

Khaberni  - The global air travel movement is still experiencing severe confusion after the American-Israeli war on Iran led to the closure of major airports in the Middle East, leaving tens of thousands of travelers stranded all over the world, with thousands of flights being disrupted.

Here are the latest developments in air travel:

Aegean Airlines

•             The largest Greek airline has canceled its flights to Tel Aviv until the morning of March 20th, and to Beirut, Erbil, and Baghdad until the morning of the 25th of the same month.

•             The company has canceled its flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi until the evening of the 19th of the same month, and to Riyadh and Jeddah until the morning of March 14th.

Air Baltic

•             The Latvian company "Air Baltic" said it has canceled all its flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 28th, and all flights to and from Dubai until the 16th of the same month.

Air Canada

•             Air Canada has suspended all its flights to Tel Aviv until May 2nd, and all flights to Dubai until March 28th.

Air Europa

•             The Spanish airline has canceled all its flights to Tel Aviv until March 11th.

Air France

•             Air France has canceled flights to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut until March 11th, and to and from Dubai and Riyadh until the 10th of the same month, including a flight departing from Dubai on March 11th.

•             "K.L.M" company announced the suspension of its flights to and from Dubai, Riyadh, and Dammam until March 10th, in addition to suspending its flights to and from Tel Aviv for the remainder of the winter season.

Cathay Pacific

•             The Hong Kong-based airline has canceled all its flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh until March 14th.

Delta

•             The American airline has canceled its flights from New York to Tel Aviv until March 22nd and from Tel Aviv to New York until March 23rd.

El Al Israel Airlines

•             El Al and its subsidiary Sandor's flights to and from Israel have been canceled until March 10th.

Emirates

•             The company said it will operate a limited flight schedule until further notice.

Etihad Airways

•             The Emirati company said it will operate a limited schedule of commercial flights starting from March 6th, operating between Abu Dhabi and a number of main destinations.

Finnair

•             The Finnish airline has canceled its flights to Doha and Dubai until March 29th.

•             The company will avoid the airspace of Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Israel, but will operate at least one flight to Muscat tomorrow to evacuate customers, and plans to operate more later in the week.

British Airways

•             British Airways, part of the International Airlines Group (IAG), has canceled its flights to Tel Aviv until March 9th.

•             The company intends to operate flights for British Airways customers from Muscat from the 9th to March 12th.

•             Iberia Express, belonging to the group and specializing in low-cost air travel, has canceled all its flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 10th.

Alitalia

•             The Italian company has suspended its flights to and from Tel Aviv until March 22nd.

•             The company has extended the cancellation of its flights to Dubai until March 10th.

Japan Airlines

•             The company has suspended its flights between Tokyo and Doha scheduled from February 28th, until March 21st of this year, and flights between Doha and Tokyo until the 22nd of the same month.

LOT Polish Airlines

•             The Polish airline company has announced the cancellation of all its flights to and from Tel Aviv and Dubai until March 28th.

Lufthansa

•             The German aviation group, which includes Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines, has suspended its flights to Tel Aviv until April 2nd.

•             Flights to Beirut are suspended until March 28th, and to Amman and Erbil until March 15th.

•             It has suspended flights to Tehran until April 30th, and to Dammam, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi until March 10th.

Malaysia Airlines

•             The Malaysian airline has suspended all its flights to and from Doha until March 13th.

•             Resumed normal operations to and from Jeddah and Medina from March 8th.

Norwegian Air

•             The Scandinavian airline company plans to operate its flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut starting from June 15th, instead of April 1st and 4th respectively, as previously planned.

Pegasus

•             The Turkish Minister of Transport said that the company "Pegasus" has stopped its flights to Iran until March 20th, and departing flights from Amman and Beirut until March 12th, and return flights until March 13th.

•             The company has canceled departing flights from Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Riyadh, and Dammam until March 9th, and return flights until the 10th of the month.

Qatar Airways

•             The company operates a limited flight schedule to and from Doha.

•             Plans to resume some flights starting from today, Monday, after obtaining a temporary license from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.

Saudi Arabian Airlines

•             Saudi Arabian Airlines has suspended its flights to Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Bahrain until March 10th.

•             It has suspended flights to Moscow and Peshawar until March 15th.

•             Announced a partial resumption of flights to Dubai according to a limited schedule.

Turkish Airlines

•             The Turkish Minister of Transport said that Turkish Airlines has canceled its flights to Iran until March 12th.

•             Added that all Turkish Airlines flights to Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan have been canceled until March 13th.

Wizz Air

•             The airline has suspended its flights to and from Israel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Amman until March 15th.
