Among them is the refusal to threaten the security and stability of Arab countries ElSisi directs several messages

Khaberni - The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, directed several messages to the region and the world, amidst ongoing escalations between Iran, Israel and the United States, and its challenging repercussions.

El-Sisi, on Monday, delivered two speeches, the first on Egypt's Martyr's Day and the second at an emergency meeting for the European Union, revealing the Egyptian vision regarding the developments in the region, as reported by the government-owned Cairo News Channel.

In commenting on the current escalation in the region, the Egyptian President said, "we reject any threat or targeting of the security and stability of Arab states," adding, "we firmly reject violation of the sovereignty of Arab states and the integrity of their territories and citizens."

He emphasized "the necessity of an immediate cessation of aggressions against brotherly Arab countries," calling for "the necessity of restraint and de-escalation and promoting dialogue and advancing the diplomatic track."

He also stressed "the necessity of adhering to the principle of resolving crises and disputes through peaceful means."

The Egyptian President cautioned that "the current escalation will affect the security of navigation passages, supply chains, and trade movement," before stating: "we welcome the role of the European Union in the peaceful settlement of various regional and international issues."

He then moved on to the Lebanon file, stating: "we emphasize the necessity of non-interference in the internal affairs of states or recourse to the use of force, and the necessity of supporting Lebanon and preserving its stability."

He continued saying, "we support the Lebanese state and the orientation of President (Joseph Aoun) Aoun in disarming Hezbollah," and followed up: "I affirm the necessity of supporting Lebanon and preserving its stability."

Regarding Syria, the Egyptian President stated, "we emphasize the necessity of maintaining stability in Syria and not allowing its territory to be targeted."

Furthermore, El-Sisi said, "we have repeatedly called over the years for the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in the Middle East," adding "we emphasize the necessity of comprehensive and non-selective implementation of the nuclear non-proliferation system."

For over a week now, Israel and the United States have been launching continuous and intensive airstrikes on targets in Iran, resulting in the death of several top-tier leaders, including the Iranian guide, Ali Khamenei, while Tehran responds with missile strikes on Israel.
