The Ministry of Defense announces the martyrdom of 2 members of the armed forces due to a helicopter crash caused by a technical fault while performing their national duty in the country on Monday, March 9, 2026.
The Ministry of Defense extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, praying to God almighty to encompass them with His vast mercy and to grant their families patience and solace.

In this context, on Monday, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan expressed its deepest condolences and sympathies to the United Arab Emirates for the martyrdom of two Emirati armed forces members following a helicopter crash caused by a technical fault while performing their national duty.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs in a statement affirmed Jordan’s solidarity and full support for the government and people of the United Arab Emirates in this painful event, expressing its sincerest condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyrs.
