Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited today, Sunday, the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, accompanied by His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince.
During a meeting of His Majesty the King with the Chief of Staff of the Joint Chiefs, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, His Majesty was briefed on the level of readiness of various branches of the armed forces.
His Majesty praised the efforts of the army soldiers and security forces in protecting the nation and its citizens, and the high readiness of the armed forces to deal with current regional developments and confront any threats and attempts to undermine the security, stability and safety of Jordan and its citizens.
His Majesty affirmed that Jordan is safe and will remain so due to the efforts of the armed forces and security agencies who defend the land, the skies, and the borders of the country, pointing out that the kingdom is fully prepared to take all measures to ensure its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
His Majesty listened to a briefing on comprehensive modernization and development plans being implemented by the armed forces, enabling them to perform their national duties in protecting the borders of the kingdom and maintaining its security and stability.
