Palestinian Martyred and His Brother Injured by Settlers Gunfire in Hebron

Khaberni  - On Saturday evening, a Palestinian was martyred and his brother was injured by settlers’ gunfire in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian news agency “Wafa” reported that the young man, Amir Mohammed Shanaran (28 years old), was martyred and his brother Khalid (33 years old), suffered critical injuries, following settlers from the Susiya settlement established on Palestinian lands, shooting at them while they were near their home in Khirbet Wadi al-Rakhim, south of Hebron.

With the martyrdom of the young Shanaran, the number of martyrs who have fallen by settlers' bullets since the beginning of this year has risen to 4 martyrs, while the number has increased since the seventh of October 2023 to 40 martyrs, amid escalating attacks by settlers on Palestinian villages, towns, and communities in the West Bank, according to the Anti-Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
