Khaberni - On Wednesday, settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
The governorate of Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers stormed the mosque's courtyards and performed provocative Talmudic rituals, including what is called "epic prostration," near the Mercy Gate and the Dome of the Rock.
It added that groups affiliated with what is called "the Temple" published inciting invitations to rally the settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and to raise the occupation flag in its courtyards.
This coincided with the continuation of the occupation police's tightening measures, the erection of barriers, road closures in the city of Jerusalem, and restricting worshippers' access to Al-Aqsa Mosque by detaining IDs and conducting searches.
Since the beginning of April, the pace of the incursions has escalated, where settlers performed public rituals and "collective prostration" within the mosque’s courtyards.
As well as, the extremist Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on April 12, performing Talmudic rituals accompanied by settlers, in his third incursion since the beginning of the year, and the 16th since he assumed office.
