Trump No deal with Iran but unconditional surrender

Khaberni - US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that there will be "no deal with Iran other than unconditional surrender".

Trump wrote on the "Truth Social" platform: "Afterwards, and after choosing a great and acceptable leader (or leaders), we and many of our wonderful and brave allies and partners will tirelessly work to save Iran from the brink of the abyss and make it greater, better, and stronger economically than ever before."

Trump added: "Iran will have a great future. Let's make Iran great again. Thank you for your interest in this matter!"

In previous statements, Trump confirmed that the pace and intensity of strikes on Iran will continue, expressing his desire for a change in leadership in Tehran. He also considered any ground intervention in Iran as "a waste of time".

Trump, in a conversation with "NBC News", excluded any ground intervention, saying: "We are not considering a ground attack on Iran at this time. They have lost everything. They lost their naval fleet. They have lost everything they could lose".

Trump mentioned that Iranian air defenses and missile capabilities were completely or largely destroyed.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Thursday to "NBC News" that Iran is "ready for all possibilities" including a ground operation, adding: "We are waiting for them. We are confident that we can confront them and that it will be disastrous for them".

In his comments, the US president expressed preferences for who could lead Iran in the coming period, and commented: "We want to change Iran's leadership and we have preferences for who could be a 'good leader'. He continued: "Their anti-aircraft weapons have disappeared. So they have no air force. They have no air defense. All their planes have disappeared".
