Khaberni - The British Maritime Trade Operations announced that it received a report about a container ship being attacked by a military boat of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, 15 nautical miles northeast of the Sultanate of Oman.
The ship's captain reported that the Iranian boat approached the ship without issuing any warning via wireless communication devices, and then fired at it, causing significant damage to the bridge, though the attack did not result in fires or environmental impact.
The report confirmed that all crew members are safe, while UKMTO called on ships to report any suspicious activity.
