Khaberni - The European Football Association (UEFA), on Thursday, said that no decision will be made on the venue and time of the match between the champions of Europe and South America, which is called "Finalissima", until the end of next week amid ongoing ambiguity regarding Qatar's ability to host the match.
The match between Spain, the European champion, and Argentina, the holder of the Copa America, was scheduled for March 27 at Lusail Stadium in Doha.
However, holding the match in Qatar has become increasingly unlikely following the announcement by the Qatar Football Association to suspend all its championships indefinitely after the US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
UEFA said: Discussions are still ongoing with local organizers, who have made great efforts to ensure the success of the match. A final decision on the match is expected by the end of next week. At this stage, no consideration is being given to any alternative location.
