Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II and Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shar' discussed the overall serious regional situations during a phone call today, Thursday.
His Majesty the King renewed his condemnation of targeting the Kingdom and several countries in the region, pointing out that protecting the citizens and preserving the security and sovereignty of Jordan is a priority.
The call emphasized the need for de-escalation and resorting to dialogue to avoid exacerbating the current crisis.
Developments in the West Bank were also discussed, affirming the need to reduce escalation and protect the freedom of worshippers to access Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
