Life Imprisonment for American Doctor Who Assaulted Over 100 Children

Khaberni - Judicial documents revealed shocking details in one of the most controversial cases of child sexual abuse in the United States, where a pediatrician was convicted of committing assaults against more than 100 children over many years of his medical practice.

According to investigations, the doctor Earl Bradley was arrested in 2008 after being charged with serious offenses, including rape and sexual exploitation of children. Bradley was 56 years old at the time, before it later became apparent that the number of victims was much larger than initially believed.

Today, at 75 years old, the doctor is serving multiple life sentences in an American prison, after his conviction for committing assaults and filming them inside his clinic for children while their parents waited outside.

More than 100 victims
According to an expanded indictment of over 160 pages, Bradley committed his assaults between 1998 and 2009, involving 103 children, most of them girls, and some were only a few months old.

The case involved a total of 471 criminal charges, including repeated assaults on some victims over long periods. The documents indicate that one victim was assaulted between 2007 and 2009, while another was subjected to ongoing harassment for nearly an entire year.

During an examination of his medical clinic, authorities found over 13 hours of video footage documenting the assaults, as well as computers and hard drives containing thousands of patient-related files.

Warnings were ignored
Investigations showed that the doctor was able to continue his work for years despite previous warnings and complaints. Medical entities ignored complaints from families and nurses about his professional behavior, including accusations of performing unnecessary medical procedures on children.

Reports also indicated that the doctor’s sister had attempted to seek professional intervention years before his arrest, but those pleas did not receive an adequate response.

In the aftermath of the case, victims' families filed lawsuits against medical entities associated with his work, ending in a record financial settlement of about 123 million dollars.
