Pentagon Releases Names of Soldiers Killed in Drone Attack in Kuwait

Khaberni  - The US Pentagon released the names of the last two soldiers of the six who were killed in a drone attack targeting a US command center in Kuwait on Sunday.

The soldiers have been identified as First Sergeant Robert Marzan (54 years old) from Sacramento, California, and Major Jeffrey O'Brian (45 years old) from Indianola, Iowa.

A statement from the Department of War reported that O'Brian received several awards and medals during his service, including the Army Achievement Medal and the Service Ribbon.

The announcement of the identities of Marzan and O'Brian comes a day after the publication of the names of their four colleagues who perished in the same attack, namely Captain Cody Khourk (35 years old), Sergeant Nicole Amor (39 years old), Sergeant Declan Cody (20 years old), and Sergeant Noah Tietgens (42 years old).

The US Army Reserve announced the opening of a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

The Pentagon clarified in its statement that Marzan was present at the site of the attack when the drone targeted the command center in Kuwait, and he is believed to be "the individual who died on site," with a medical examiner later to officially confirm his identity.

US President Donald Trump mourned the victims in a video statement, saying: "We pray for the complete healing of the wounded and send our immense love and eternal gratitude to the families of the deceased. Unfortunately, there are likely more to come before it ends. This is the situation, but we will do everything possible to avoid it."
