The White House We are not currently planning a ground operation in Iran

Khaberni - White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt announced that the United States is not currently planning a ground operation in Iran, but she preempted any potential development by not categorically ruling out military options.

Levitt said in a press briefing in response to a question about the possibility and goals of a ground operation in Iran: "Currently, this is not within the operation plan, but I definitely will never rule out military options on behalf of the President of the United States or the Supreme Commander (Donald Trump), and he is wise not to do so either."

Earlier, US War Secretary Pete Hegseth refused to confirm media reports about plans to arm the Kurdish opposition for participation in a potential ground operation against Iran.

CNN had earlier reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed official, that forces from the Iranian Kurdish opposition might participate in a ground operation in western Iran in the coming days.

These statements come at a time when the United States and Israel have been launching a vast military operation against Iran since February 28, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and dozens of leaders, with the current focus on aerial, naval, and missile targets.
