Amr Saad Ignites Debate Over Highest Paid in Egyptian Drama

Khaberni - Amr Saad ignited the "highest paid" debate among the stars of Egyptian drama, which was started by actor Mohammed Ramadan with the "Number One" title, then Ahmed El Awadi joined in, before Mohammed Imam joined them, who currently has a series "The King".

Amr Saad said in media statements that he "decided not to talk about this matter for the past 5 years, even though he reads and follows strange things but he never commented in order to not enter into debates or altercations", in his own words.

He added: "There is no TV station in Egypt or platform or producer who does not know for certain that Amr Saad is the highest marketing value in the entire Arab world, not just in Egypt", according to him.

He continued, saying: "But it does not mean that being the highest paid, or having the highest marketing value, necessarily makes me the best, and generally, I do not like the idea of comparisons, but since I was asked, I had to be honest."

He pointed out that he sees the "conflict, race, and competition in Ramadan drama as phony things invented by social media platforms".

It should be noted that Amr Saad stars in the "Release" series this Ramadan season, which is set in an atmosphere of crime, suspense, and thrill and is inspired by a true story.

The series is directed by Ahmed Khaled Moussa, and stars Tara Emad, Hatem Salah, Jihad Hossam El Din, Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Mohsen Mansour, Abdelaziz Makhyoun.
