Khaberni - The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced that the Cybercrime Unit of the General Directorate for Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security, succeeded in detecting (4) individuals and arresting them, following their involvement in filming and publishing clips related to the aftermath of the Iranian attack, which showed sympathy for it, and others from military sites, constituting a betrayal of the nation and a clear violation of its values and principles, and they circulated those clips through their social media accounts, thereby misleading the public opinion and spreading fear among citizens and residents, potentially harming the security and public order.
The ministry stated that the necessary legal measures have been taken against the mentioned individuals, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior urged everyone to obtain information from its official sources, and not to share or republish untrustworthy clips or news, to avoid legal accountability and to preserve the nation's security and safety.
