Khaberni - Real Madrid's French star forward, Kylian Mbappé, has turned to a specialist doctor outside of his club in his effort to return to play after suffering a knee injury.
The radio station "RMC" reported on Monday that the French player has been away from the pitch for several months due to a knee injury, visited an outside doctor from Real Madrid, and is currently undergoing conservative treatment. He may return to the Spanish team in the UEFA Champions League mid-March.
It was explained that Mbappé consulted a knee injury specialist and is working closely with him to assess his condition in the coming days. In Madrid, club officials believe that the player's return will depend on how he feels about the injury and his response to treatment in his left knee.
Mbappé might return to the pitch in the second leg of the last 16 of the Champions League against Manchester City, but the player is not willing to take risks and it is too early to discuss his readiness to play with his national team during the international break at the end of this month.
Real Madrid currently holds the second position in the Spanish league standings with 60 points, four points behind the leader, Barcelona.
