Multiple explosions heard in Dubai Doha and Manama for the second day

Khaberni - Witnesses reported hearing strong explosions in Dubai, Doha, and Manama for the second day, after Iran launched strikes on the neighboring Gulf states in response to American and Israeli strikes targeting Iran.

Iran had announced its intention to target American bases in the region, and has previously targeted several other sites.

"Dubai Airports" reported on Sunday night an incident at Dubai International Airport (DXB), indicating that emergency response teams were immediately activated to deal with the situation.

It was reported that the incident resulted in four people being injured, with emergency medical aid and assistance provided to them, without revealing more details about the nature of the injuries or the circumstances of the incident.

The Dubai Government Media Office said that four people were injured following an incident at Dubai International Airport, as Iran continues to attack American bases in the region.

The office added in a post on the X platform, "Emergency response teams were immediately activated, and the incident is being dealt with in coordination with the relevant authorities."

In Qatar, eight people were injured, one critically, in attacks by rockets and drones launched by Iran on Qatar on Saturday, causing damage to a radar system at Al Udeid Air Base near Doha.

In Manama, the Ministry of Interior of Bahrain announced early on Sunday that Bahrain International Airport was targeted by a drone, resulting in only material damage with no injuries recorded.

For its part, the Bahrain Defence Force confirmed that the air defense systems intercepted the attacks, noting their success in destroying and downing 45 missiles and 9 drones, including Shahed 136 drones, during the attacks attributed to Iran.
