Khaberni - The President of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Captain Diaf Allah Al-Farajat, urged travelers from and to the kingdom to directly communicate with airline companies to ensure their flight schedules before heading to the airport.
Captain Al-Farajat explained in a press statement that the current conditions being experienced in the region, and the accompanying closure of airspaces in some neighboring countries, might result in a slowdown in the usual air navigation movement.
He pointed out that this measure comes to ensure the highest safety standards and to avoid congestion in airport lounges due to any changes that might occur in flight schedules.
The commission confirmed that they are closely monitoring the situation, coordinating with all relevant entities to ensure the continuity of operations and to provide the necessary facilities for travelers under the exceptional circumstances the region is undergoing.
