Khaberni - The Jordanian basketball team secured an important victory over the Iranian basketball team with a score of (73-60), during the match held at the Nihad Nawfal Sports Complex in Beirut, Lebanon, as part of the second window of the Asian qualifiers leading to the Basketball World Cup 2027, hosted by Qatar.
With this victory, the national team continued its positive results after starting its campaign in the first window with two wins against the Syrian team with scores of (74-59) and (100-48), bringing its points total to four and leading the standings of Group C by a margin of points over the Iranian team, which has the same score.
On the other hand, the Iraqi and Syrian teams occupy the third and fourth positions with two points each, confirming the strong presence of the “Jordan Hawks” in the race to qualify for the world finals.
