Khaberni - The Jordan Tourism Board took part in the South Asia Travel and Tourism Exhibition (SATTE 2026), held from February 25 to 27, 2026 at the Yashobhoomi Conference Center in New Delhi, within a Jordanian pavilion that included representatives of the tourism and hotel industry, with the participation of the national carrier, Royal Jordanian, as part of its efforts to enhance Jordan's presence in the promising Indian market.
The Board focused during its participation on promoting the diverse Jordanian tourism product, which includes cultural and religious tourism, adventure and medical tourism, as well as incentive tourism and the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) and wedding tourism, amid increasing demand from Indian tourists for distinctive destinations and luxury events.
The participation program includes holding bilateral meetings with major Indian tourism companies to explore ways to increase the number of tourists to the kingdom, while Royal Jordanian supports these efforts by enhancing air connectivity through direct flights to Mumbai and preparing to launch a new direct route to New Delhi, thus enhancing tourism and trade exchange between the two countries and supporting Jordan’s position on the global tourism map.
