The decision of the football association to hold an international quadrilateral tournament in preparation for the upcoming World Cup is considered scientifically and practically excellent, as only a few months remain until the launch of the next World Cup, not to mention that all the invited teams, which represent schools belonging to several continents, will give our national team the chance to interact with players from all global leagues.
At a time when we welcomed the call of our national team coach, Jamal Salami, for some veteran Jordanian team players like "Malek Shelbaya", we now strengthen his hand and say hurrah for calling up new blood (return of Fakhouri, Ali Azayza, Ali Hajbi, Ibrahim Sabra, and others) to be a source and support and a future for our national team (World Cup team).
But the exclusion of some players like (Sayssa) leaves a question mark, and what is good for the goose is good for the gander, which applies to Aref Al-Haj and others,
His statement about them was that he has players who perform the same tasks that would have been demanded of them if needed, and I see that Salami's move is commendable, logical, and practical because while he did not call them up, he has kept the door open for them and other players in case, God forbid, some players get injured, others who are close in level and position on the field will be called up as part of the coach's strategy and plan.
In conclusion, we say God bless the efforts of our technical staff for the national team, and we hope that the hopes of going far in the upcoming competitions and especially the World Cup will be realized, for tomorrow is near.
