Khaberni - Computer map outputs indicate that the Kingdom, God willing, on Thursday will be affected by a weather depression classified as the first grade (the lowest), according to the intensity scale of weather depressions adopted in "Arab Weather", which leads to scattered rain showers temporally and geographically, coinciding with significant activity in wind speed causing dust waves.
This depression is followed, God willing, by the influx of a very cold air mass starting from the evening and night of Friday/Saturday, although it will be without weather activity, whereby its effects are limited to a significant and noticeable drop in temperatures, with an increased risk of frost formation in many areas.
Jordan is affected on Thursday 26-2-2026 by a new weather depression classified as first grade (the lowest), and the weather will be cold, with renewed chances for rain - God willing - in various parts of the Kingdom, especially in the northern regions thereof.
Clear activity is also expected in wind speed with strong gusts that raise dust in desert areas, in addition to chances of rain, especially in the north and center of the Kingdom.
During the night of Thursday/Friday, the weather will be cold, and there is a possibility of local showers of rain in various parts of the Kingdom, taking the form of hail showers over some southern mountainous peaks at dawn hours.
Friday: The departure of the depression
And during Friday, the weather depression moves away, but Jordan remains under the influence of cold and moist air currents, hence temperatures will be colder than their averages for this time of the year by about 3-5 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be cold and partly cloudy, with a possibility of local rain showers in some areas, especially the southern ones, and the winds will be moderate to active northwest winds, increasing the feeling of coldness.
Starting from the night of Friday/Saturday, Jordan will be affected by a very cold air mass, and nighttime temperatures will clearly drop compared to previous nights, and the weather during late night and dawn will be extremely cold in many areas, and minimum temperatures will approach zero degrees Celsius in various desert areas, eastern plains, and mountainous heights.
This coincides with calm in wind speed and a decrease in cloud amounts to become clear skies, and therefore, weather conditions are favorable, God willing, for frost formation in wide areas of Jordan, God willing.
