South Korea Girl uses ChatGPT to kill two men with lethal drug doses

Khaberni - South Korean police arrested a 21-year-old girl charged with killing two men in a strange and deliberate manner, after relying on the "ChatGPT" application to direct her crimes, in an incident that shook local public opinion.
The authorities said that the first victim was lured to a small hotel in the capital, Seoul, where he was drugged with a lethal mix of sleeping pills and alcohol, resulting in his death. Weeks before, the young woman repeated the same method with a second victim in another hotel. The investigations reveal a previous murder attempt dating back to December 2025.

Most shockingly, the girl used the "ChatGPT" app to find out the lethal doses of the drugs, and recorded questions about how to mix drugs with alcohol in a manner that could lead to death, according to police reports. After the first incident, the young woman significantly increased the doses using strong medications like "Xanax" and "Valium".

The investigators confirmed that the girl was fully aware of the dangerousness of her actions, which led them to upgrade the charge to premeditated murder.

Investigations are still ongoing to determine if there are other victims, as the accused will undergo a comprehensive psychological assessment before her trial, in an attempt to understand the motives behind one of the strangest crimes in South Korea.
