Amr Khaled: Surahs to relieve distress and troubles and healing from life's pains
The strongest remedy for pain and brokenness.. Surah to mend the broken-hearted in the Quran
Our Lord is more merciful to you than your mother.. the Surah of divine consolation in the Quran
For those suffering from the wounds and pains of life.. Here is the divine remedy from the Quran
Healing and mercy.. A divine remedy in the Quran for all your pains and sorrows

Khaberni - Dr. Amr Khaled, the Islamic preacher, offered a Quranic prescription for those with troubles and difficulties through three Surahs he said carry the remedy for troubles and heal from life's pains.

And Khaled explained in the third episode of his Ramadan program "Guide - A Journey with the Quran," that every pain has a lifecycle; the pain does not last, it grows then fades, then dies and dissipates, turning into a memory, pointing out that the strongest remedy for pain is to see the positives in life: blessings, God's kindness to you, God’s honor to you, people's appreciation for you.

He corroborated from the Quran that it is a remedy for the soul's and spirit's pains, as stated in the verse: "And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers", explaining that the Quran as a whole is healing but there are various levels of healing, and every soul finds its remedy for its pain in part of the Quran.

Among those Surahs that treat these pains, Khaled spoke about the Surahs Ad-Duhaa, Ash-Sharh, and Ar-Rahman; for example: the sorrowful, lonely, who suffers from losing security and abandonment by friends, loved ones, and family, finds his healing in Surah Ad-Duhaa, and those who feel constricted from the too much pain of the world find their healing in Surah Ash-Sharh, and those needing a deep psychological healing session due to severe life struggles find their healing in Surah Ar-Rahman.

However, before anything, he urged the necessity of reading the Quran in an unconventional way, as if it were a message for you.. like a patient needing healing.

Surah Ad-Duhaa: For every troubled person
And Khaled mentioned for those who suffer from sadness and feel the pain of loneliness, and losing security and abandonment by friends, lovers, and family, they should read Ad-Duhaa; for it, although addressing the Prophet peace be upon him, touches every broken person from his followers.
He clarified that there are three methods of healing in Surah Ad-Duhaa, each method containing three ideas, explaining that the meaning behind the name of Surahs Ad-Duhaa, is that the morning light comes after the long night; the first light of the daybreak is called Ad-Duhaa, which is a vow from our Lord.

And he mentioned that the first healing method includes three magnificent divine promises:
-The first promise: Do not fear, O troubled one, I am with you, I feel and sense you, and I will not leave you alone.
-The second promise: an idea planted within you: "And indeed, the Hereafter is better for you than the present life"; meaning every pain you face positively must transform into good for you in the end, and the meaning is that every matter that begins with goodness, patience, and determination, the end is good for you.
-The third promise "And soon your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied", and it is one of the greatest verses for mending broken hearts in the Quran, for the prophet peace be upon him will not be satisfied while someone from his following is in hell, and it is a promise from Allah to the troubled.
And Khaled explained that these verses teach us that behind every blessing is an old story of pain, for it is Allah who writes the end of the journey and must satisfy you in the end, because He is the most generous of the generous.
As for the third method of healing as Khaled describes, it requires you: get up, move, do good, to alleviate your pain and forget your troubles, "So as for the orphan, do not oppress him * And as for the petitioner, do not rebuke him * And as for the favor of your Lord, speak of it".
And Khaled moved to Surah Ash-Sharh, which he said treats a second type, addressing everyone showing signs of depression, pointing out that usually the purpose of the Surah comes at its end, or in the middle, but in this Surah it comes in the beginning: relieving of the chest.
And Khaled identified four rules from the Surah for relieving the chest, making the person at the peak of relief:
-The first rule: for chest relief: get rid of your internal burdens preventing relief: sins, painful memories and experiences, grudges and envy.
The second rule: "And We have raised high your fame".. Remember Allah's honor for you, to be satisfied and thus your chest will be relieved, and it has been scientifically proven that self-esteem is a fundamental reason for a good life.
The third rule: do not succumb to feelings of frustration and despair, continue working, for the pain does not last "Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease * Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease", but look for solutions, for every hardship within it has its ease, your effort to look for solutions amidst the hardship will alleviate your pain and gradually transform it into a state of ease.. we need the status of certainty and trust.
-The fourth rule: "So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]* And to your Lord direct [your] longing", worship Allah especially the night prayers until your chest is relieved, and make your desire connected with supplication to Allah. And by Allah, supplication will relieve the chest because you cast your burden onto Allah.

The third Surah: Surah Ar-Rahman
Khaled likened Surah Ar-Rahman, which the prophet called the bride of the Quran to "a deep psychological spiritual therapy session, treating the psychologically exhausted person, sunk in his sorrows, which rescues him from drowning in pains of life, with its wonderful impactful repetition "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny", which is repeated 31 times out of a total of 78 verses, where it will restore your psychological balance after a therapy session".

And Khaled stated that this Surah is a mandatory psychological therapy session needed by the psychologically healthy before the sick ""The Most Merciful * Taught the Quran * Created man * Taught him eloquence".
And Khaled urged seeing the positive sides in life, the blessings, God's kindness to you, awareness of the blessings, considering it the strongest psychological remedy aiding in pain treatment, which is the therapeutic technique of gratitude: "Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny", and he called it favors and not merely blessings, because favors are higher and more valuable.

And Khaled mentioned that Surah Ar-Rahman seems to the listener at the beginning that it
