Gulf Insurance Group  Jordan Posts Profits of 12 Million Dinars for 2025 and Recommends Distributing 20 of Capital as Cash Div

Khaberni -   The board of directors of the Gulf Insurance Group – Jordan held its meeting on February 18, 2026, chaired by Engineer Nasser Al Lozi, to adopt the financial statements of the company for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025. The meeting was attended by board members and Dr. Ali Al Wazni, the CEO of the company.

Engineer Nasser Al Lozi, the chairman of the board, expressed the board’s satisfaction with the company’s performance during 2025, noting that the company achieved positive growth in key financial indicators. The net profit after tax reached 11.98 million Jordanian Dinars, marking a 19% increase compared to a net profit of 10.1 million Jordanian Dinars in the previous year. The total assets amounted to 164.45 million Jordanian Dinars, with investments constituting 73.5% of the asset value.

On his part, Dr. Ali Al Wazni, the CEO mentioned the continued success of the company, with a 15% annual increase in insurance contract revenues, exceeding 143 million Jordanian Dinars. The company also maintained a return on equity of 20% and a combined loss ratio of less than 90%.

These achievements have enhanced the company's position in the market, confirmed by the global rating agency AM Best, which affirmed the company's credit rating at a- (Excellent) and the financial strength rating at A- (Excellent) during 2025.

Furthermore, the company's board of directors decided to call for an ordinary general meeting of the shareholders on April 28, 2026, to ratify the financial statements, the auditor’s report, and the board's report for the period ended December 31, 2025. In the same session, the board also recommended to the general assembly of shareholders to distribute cash dividends at the rate of 20% of the capital, amounting to 26 million Jordanian Dinars, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
