The Jordanian Association for Marathons discusses its future plans during the meeting of its General Assembly in Greater Amman M

Khaberni  - The Jordanian Association for Marathons held a meeting of its General Assembly at the headquarters of the Greater Amman Municipality, chaired by His Highness Prince Firas bin Raad, chairman of the board of the association, and in the presence of members of the General Assembly, at the forefront of which are the Mayor of Amman, His Excellency Dr. Yousef Shawarbeh and the City Director at the Greater Amman Municipality, Engineer Nabil Al Jerir, and including His Excellency Engineer Fawzi Masad, Honorable Ms. Reem Badran, His Excellency Engineer Jameel Ali Mujahed, His Excellency Mr. Ramzi Al-Muaita, the General Director of the Tourism Promotion Authority, and Honorable Senator Shurahbil Madi, along with the General Director and representatives from Ernst & Young.
The meeting was convened to review the work progress of the association during the past period, ratify the budget, and discuss future plans aimed at enhancing the role of running in society and entrenching the association's races at both local and international levels.
The association confirmed that this year's strategy will primarily focus on the "Young Runners Program" which it launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, where it dedicates efforts to empower children and youth through organized training programs and awareness activities aimed at discovering talents and nurturing them from an early age.
The initiative aims to build a sustainable sports base, and develop a new generation of runners capable of representing Jordan in international marathons, contributing to the spread of sports culture and establishing a healthy lifestyle for future generations.
At the end of the meeting, His Highness the Prince and members of the General Assembly expressed their appreciation for the societal and national role undertaken by the association, affirming the importance of concerted efforts to continue supporting its programs and quality initiatives in the coming phase.
